I figured it out. I can help you answer that nagging question,”
what are ways for my teens to lose weight?” But before we start, you need to make sure that
your teen is committed to this process. This is a 3 in 1 program process and by following it, you teen will
have success. What are the programs you ask, here they are:
Find your Teens How to Lose
Weight
·
Teens Lose Weight Program 1 is Exercise. The first thing you need to know is what to look for in a quality
exercise program. A quality program can match up with whatever his or her fitness capacity is. So if your teen
has never worked out before or has worked out all their life, it should still be easy to follow the program. The
workouts should also have a clear cut range of time in which to get results and a range of what those results will
be.
·
Lose Weight for Teens Program 2 is Cardio. Your
teen’s cardio program should give a clear direction. Your teen should know why he or she is being asked to do
this particular type of cardio exercise and what type of calorie burn should be expected.
·
Teen Lose Weight Program 3 is Diet. Your teens diet plan
should tell you the types of foods he or she will need to eat and how much of it in order to get the best
results. There shouldn’t be any guess work involved.
This is the best way to answer the question, “what are ways for my
teens to lose weight?” Why? It’s simple, when it comes to the body; there are really only three main
factors that affect weight loss. By regulating these three factors, your teen will lose weight and be fit.
Neglect even one, and your teen(s) will join the millions of other struggling with weight issues. The 3 factors
are muscle development, heart and lung capacity, calorie intake.
In fact the more muscle tone one has, the more fat one will burn at rest, so
basically, while you are sleeping you will burn more calories than usual. Muscle tone and muscle mass are not
the same and that will be explained at another time. But doing cardio isn’t an efficient way to develop muscle
tone, resistance training is.
You need a strong heart in order to be able to work out at the highest levels.
Doing cardio is the best way to strengthen your heart. The more effective your body is at taking in oxygen, and
the better your heart is at turning that into energy, (complicated process, so I’m keeping it simple) the better
your teen’s body will be at burning fat. So just like cardio isn’t the most efficient for getting muscle tone,
neither is resistance training for increased heart and lung capacity.
You calorie intake can be the deal breaker. The more you manage what your
teen(s) eats during the day and how often, has as much of an effect on weight loss as the other two factors. By
eating the right amount of calories during the right times of the day, your teen(s) body won’t n
eed to store fat. Your teens body stores fat, (fat is equal to energy) so it will have energy
for a later time. Everyone’s body does this in response to have poor eating habits. Eating two to three times a
day causes the body to try and reserve fuel, but if your teen(s) eats five to six times a day, there won’t be a
need for the body to do this. (Click link for more information)
